RE: LATE COMMUNICATION
The Clerk of the Board received communication, after the publication of the agenda, from
Director of Finance, Wally Ritchie requesting that the recommendation to Item No. 10 be
changed as redlined below:
10. SALE OF ENERGY CREDITS 2026-5029
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend to the Board of Directors to:
Authorize the General Manager, or designee, on an ongoing basis to sell, transfer, or
otherwise monetize renewable energy credits that are determined to be surplus to
derived from Orange County Sanitation District’s generation facilities that are
determined to be in excess of Orange County Sanitation District’s operational or
regulatory needs,requirements through any solicitation methods determined to be in
Orange County Sanitation District’s best interest, provided that such transactions
comply with applicable laws and regulations and provide reasonable market value to
the Orange County Sanitation Districtare sold at market value.
