Ashley Davies and Robert Housley, Midway City Sanitary District provided information to their agency's Open House on February 14, 2026. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS: 1.EMPLOYEE SERVICE AWARDS 2026-4740 Originator: Kelly Lore 25-year Service Award Arturo Diaz, Principal Environmental Specialist - Division 630 20-year Service Awards Tatiana “Tanya” Chong, Principal Staff Analyst - Division 710 Natasha Dubrovski, Contracts Supervisor - Division 230 Page 2 of 8 BOARD OF DIRECTORS Minutes January 28, 2026 REPORTS: Chair Gallagher reported on his recent appointments: Director Carlos Leon to Operations Committee Vice-Chair and Member-at-Large on the Steering Committee; Director Jamie Valencia moved from Operations Committee to Administration Committee and was appointed as the Administration Committee Vice-Chair and as an Alternate to OCCOG; Director Ted Bui was appointed to the Audit Ad Hoc Committee; Director Debbie Baker moved from Operations Committee to Administration Committee; and Director John Withers moved from Administration Committee to Operations Committee. He also thanked Director Bob Ooten for his service as the Operations Committee Vice-Chairman. Chair Gallagher reported that Newport Beach Council Member Joe Stapleton shared a teaser post yesterday highlighting OC San’s Bay Bridge Pump Station. The full interview is expected to be posted in the coming weeks. Chair Gallagher reported that Directors and Alternate Directors would receive talking points highlighting OC San activities. These are designed to support outreach efforts for reporting to councils, boards, and community groups ensuring consistent messaging about OC San. Chair Gallagher announced that OC San Administration Offices would be closed on February 16th in observance of Presidents’ Day. General Manager Rob Thompson reported on his recent participation and presentations at Fullerton Kiwanis Club; Water Advisory Committee of Orange County; CASA Winter Conference; City of Huntington Beach regarding deep well injection; SAWPA’s 50th anniversary celebration; and MWDOC’s Water Policy Forum and Dinner. Mr. Thompson announced that OC San received the following awards: Graphic Design USA recognized OC San with two awards for outstanding work across all media. “Take Your Kid to Work Day Event” Branding + Identity + Logos category; and “OC San Educational Pipe Displays” Exhibits + Displays category. Mr. Thompson announced that OC San was recognized with following awards: Community Education Project of the Year Award - Gold for the Wastewater 101 Citizens’ Academy; and Scott Green, Operator from Plant No. 2 was selected as Operator of the Year. Both will move on to compete at the state level.
