CASA Sponsored bill: SB 1263 (Portantino)
•Requires OPC to develop Statewide Microplastics Strategy
•Adopted and signed by the Governor
AB 2379 (Bloom): Microfiber warning labels
•CASA supported as focused source control measure
•Failed to pass out of the Legislature
SB 1422 (Portantino): Monitoring for microplastics in
drinking water
•CASA neutral as it pertains specifically to drinking water

wastewater, and other bioenergy groups.
