Proposition 84 (2006)
•Authorized $5.388 billion in general obligation bonds
•Largest category was Safe Drinking Water and Water Quality
•Funded programs such as Integrated Regional Water Management, Safe
Drinking Water SRF, and Bay-Delta Conservation
•Approximately $128.5 million left from the bond
–Majority allocated for the protection of rivers, streams, and lakes
OCSD was awarded $1 million in Round 1 (Sludge Dewatering and Odor Control)
OCSD was awarded $1 million in Round 3 (Newhope-Placentia Trunk Replacement)

•Authorized $7.545 billion in general obligation
bonds
•Largest category was storage and water system
operational improvements
•Funded programs such as Water Storage,
Water Recycling, Integrated Regional Water
Management, and Conservancies
•Approximately $928 million left from the bond
–Majority allocated for the protection of rivers, streams,
and lakes and regional water security
No eligible projects at this time

Proposition 68 (2018)
•Authorized $4.1 billion in general obligation bonds
•Bond mostly focuses on parks
•Has approximately $1.3 billion for water-type projects
•Funding programs from Proposition 68 are to be determined
•Approximately $3.1 billion left from the bond
–$1 billion was appropriated in the 2018-2019 Budget
Eligible projects will be determined upon grant guideline development

Proposition 3 (2018)
•Will be on the ballot in November 2018
•Would authorize $8.877 billion in general obligation bonds
•Largest categories are Safe Drinking Water and Water Quality,
and Watershed and Fisheries Improvements
•Funding programs from Proposition 3 are to be determined
•Funding from Proposition 3 is continuously allocated, and does
not need to be appropriated by the Legislature as part of the
Budget
Eligible projects will be determined upon grant guideline development
