Measuring Compliance
How does OCSD ensure discharge limits are being met?
• Source Control Inspectors inspect a facility and collect
samples on a quarterly basis at a minimum
• Inspection group also conducts strategic sampling

• Engineer reviews these results along with self- e ,
monitoring samples provided by the industry
• When a permittee commits a violation, knowingly or
unknowingly, OCSD pursues Enforcement —
