OCSD 02-07 AUTHORIZING INITIATION OF PROCEEDINGS AND FILING OF APPLICATION TO LAFCO RE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO ORANGE COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT {ANNEXATION NO. OCSD-7-HORMUTH ANNEXATION) A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ORANGE COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT, AUTHORIZING INITIATION OF PROCEEDINGS AND REQUESTING THE ORANGE COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION TO TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR ANNEXATION TO THE DISTRICT OF TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. OCSD-7-HORMUTH ANNEXATION ********************************** The Board of Directors of Orange County Sanitation District, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER: Section 1. That proceedings are hereby authorized to be initiated by Orange County Sanitation District, and the Orange County Local Agency Formation Commission is hereby requested to take proceedings for the annexation of territory designated as "Annexation No. OCSD-7 -Hormuth Annexation to Orange County Sanitation District", the boundaries of which are more particularly described and delineated on Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and by reference made a part of this resolution, according to the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth in this resolution in the manner provided by the Cortese-Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985; and, Section 2. That this proposal is made pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985, Division 3, commencing with Section 56000 of the California Government Code; and, Section 3. That this application is for the purpose of annexing approximat~ly 2.226 acres of territory to the District in the vicinity of Meads Drive and Hillside Drive in the unincorporated area of Orange County, to provide sanitary sewer service to said territory, as requested by John M. and Judy A. Hormuth, owners of said property, which said service is not now provided by any public agency; and, Section 4. That the territory to be annexed is uninhabited; and, Section 5. That this proposal is consistent with the adopted sphere of influence . of the District; and, Section 6. That proposed Annexation No. OCSD-7 shall be subject to the condition that all fees required to be paid to the District must be satisfied prior to completion of the annexation proceedings; and, Section 7. That the District hereby agrees, pursuant to Section 99.1 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, to waive its ad valorem property tax allocation exchange with other affected taxing agencies. OCSD-7 HORMUTH ANNEXATION DA99-10 TO ORANGE COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT Parcel 2 and Parcel 3 ol Parcel Map No. 91-135 as shown on a map recorded in Book 269, Pages 30 and 31 ol Parcel Maps, Records ol Orange County, said parcels being in the City or Orange, State of California and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an angle point in the existing boundary of the Orange County Sanitation District as established by "Annexation No. 130-Chartier Annex (to Sanitation District #7), said angle point being at the Northwesterly terminus cif that certain course shown as North 60°24'02" West, 380.42 feet on the Northerly line of said annexation; THENCE along said existing boundary North 35° 40' 21" West, 29.38 feet to the Northwesterly corner of Parcel 2 of said Parcel Map No. 91-135; THENCE leaving said existing Sanitation District boundary and following along the boundary of said Parcels 2 and 3 of said Parcel Map the following courses; THENCE North 54° 19' 39• East, 20.00 feet; THENCE South 35° 40' 21" East, 25.00 feet; THENCE North 49° 28' OB" East, 190.05 feet; THENCE North 89° 59' 04" East, 183.1 B feet; THENCE North 86° 50' 51" East, 73.13 feet to a point on the existing Sanitation District boundary as shown on Annexation No. 55-Ridgeline/Lazy B Annex. (to Sanitation #7), said point being North 03° 09' 04" East, 390.98 feet of an angle point being the Southerly terminus of that certain course described as "North 03° 11' oo· West, 640.50 feet" in said annexation; THENCE along said boundary South 03° 09' 04" East, 325.61 feet to the Northeasterly corner of Annexation No. 130-Chartier Annex (to Sanitation District #7); THENCE along the boundary ol said Annexation South 86° 50' 56" West, 101.62 feet and along the bou.ndary· of said Annexation North 60° 24' 02· West, 380.42 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; The above described parcel of land contains 2.226 acres. more or less.
