NO.OCSD-8 —NEW MILLENNIUM ANNEXATION
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ORANGE
COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT,AUTHORIZING INITIATION OF
PROCEEDINGS AND REQUESTING THE ORANGE COUNTY LOCAL
AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION TO TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR
ANNEXATION TO THE DISTRICT OF TERRITORY KNOWN AS
ANNEXATION NO.OCSD-8 —NEW MILLENNIUM ANNEXATION
The Board of Directors of Orange County Sanitation District,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,DETERMINE AND ORDER:
Section 1 That proceedings are hereby authorized to be initiated by Orange
County Sanitation District,and the Orange County Local Agency Formation
Commission is hereby requested to take proceedings for the annexation of territory
designated as “Annexation No.OCSD-8 —New Millennium Annexation to Orange
County Sanitation District “,the boundaries of which are more particularly described
and delineated on Exhibits “A”and “B”attached hereto and by reference made a part of
this resolution,according to the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth in this
resolution in the manner provided by the Cortese-Knox Local Government
Reorganization Act of 1985;and,
Section 2 That this proposal is made pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Local
Government Reorganization Act of 1985,Division 3,commencing with Section 56000 of
the California Government Code;and,
Section 3 That this application is for the purpose of annexing approximately
1.013 acres of territory to the District in the vicinity of Brier Lane and Deerhill Drive in
the unincorporated area of Tustin Hills,to provide sanitary sewer service to said
territory,as requested by Mark Ammerman,owner of said property,which said service
is not now provided by any public agency;and,
Section 4 That the territory to be annexed is uninhabited;and,
Section 5 That this proposal is consistent with the adopted sphere of influence
of the District;and,
Section 6 That proposed Annexation No.OCSD-8 shall be subject to the
condition that all fees required to be paid to the District must be satisfied prior to
completion of the annexation proceedings;and,
Section 7 That the District hereby agrees,pursuant to Section 99.1 of the
Revenue and Taxation Code,to waive its ad valorem property tax allocation exchange
with other affected taxing agencies.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting held June 28,2000.

In Unincorporated Territory of the County of Orange,State of California,being a portion of Block 15
of Irvine’s Subdivision as per map recorded in Book 1,Page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in the
Office of the,County Recorder of Orange County,California,described as follows:
Commencing at the most westerly corner of Lot 1 of Tract No.3241,as per map filed in Book 99,
Pages 11 and 12 of Miscellaneous Maps,in the Office of said County Recorder,said point of
commencement is also an angle point in the westerly boundary of that particular,“East Cowan
Heights”parcel,contained in an exclusion to Sanitation District No.7,said document titled
“RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ORANGE COUNTY,CALIFORNIA,
December 17,1958”;thence,along the southwesterly line of said Lot 1 and the westerly boundary of
said “East Cowan Heights”parcel,of said exclusion,South 57°34’29”East 41.58 feet to an angle point
in the existing Orange County Sanitation District boundary as described in the “Maude Annexation
No.22”(to Sanitation District No.7),said angle point being at the Northwesterly terminus of that
course,described’as,“North 58°12’54”West 403.57 feet”in said annexation;thence leaving said
southwesterly line of said Lot 1 and along said existing boundary per said exclusion parcel,South
08°40’39”West 206.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING,said point is distant South 50°48’59’
East 663.48 feet from GPS point No.3236,per Monument Record No.3236,on file in the office of the
Orange County Surveyor;thence,continuing along said existing boundary and the Westerly boundary
of said “East Cowan Heights”parcel,of said exclusion,the following courses:South 08°40’39”West
28.21 feet,South 57°04’17”West 58.69 feet and South 55°54’13 East 280.15 feet to a point in the
centerline of Brier Lane,sixty feet wide,as shown on said Map,said point being an angle point in said
exclusion,“East Cowan Heights”parcel,of said resolution;Thence,along said centerline and said
existing boundary per said “East Cowan Heights”parcel,North 43°26’22”East 241.07 feet,to the
Northerly line of a Deed to NM Homes One,Inc.,recorded October 15,1998 as Instrument No.
19980695262,in the office of the County Recorder of said County,said point is distant North 04°21’23”
East 576.72 feet from GPS point No.6518,per Monument Record No.6518,on file in the office of the
Orange County

The above-described parcel of land contains 1.013 acres more or less.
As more particularly shown on Sheets 1 and 2 of Exhibit “B”,attached hereto and by this reference,
made a part hereof.(See Exhibit “B”for GPS Datum Statement)
The Basis of Bearings for the herein described annexation parcel are based on the bearing between
O.C.S.Horizontal Control Station GPS No.6518 and Station GPS No.3236 being North 38°10~48’
West per records on file in the office of the Orange County Surveyor.
The bearings and distances contained herein are ground,to obtain grid distance multiply ground
distance by 99995500.See said “Exhibit B”for GPS coordinates and monument descriptions.
