AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.OCSD 98-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ORANGE
COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT AMENDING HUMAN RESOURCES
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES,RESOLUTION NO.OCSD 98-33
RELATING TO COMPENSATION OF THE GENERAL MANAGER
The Board of Directors of Orange County Sanitation District,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,DETERMINE AND ORDER:
Section 1 Exhibit “A”of Resolution No.OCSD 98-33 (Human Resources
Policies and Procedures Manual dated October 22,1997,Policy No.C10.00,Section
4.1)is hereby amended to adjust the salary for the General Manager,as follows:
“CLASSIFICATION BY PAY RANGE
EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
Pay Range Minimum/Mo.Maximum/Mo.Classification
E-27 $13,141 $13,141 General Manager”
Section 2 The General Manager’s salary is fixed at $157,692.16 annually,
effective July 1,1999.
Section 3 In addition to the base salary established in Section 2 above,the
General Manager is granted a merit payment of $6,184.00 from the District’s approved
Merit Pool Plan,which shall be paid in one lump sum,and which shall not be considered
or treated as part of his base salary.
Section 4 In addition to the base salary established in Section 2 above,the
General Manager shall be paid the sum of $8,000.00 as Employee Investment Incentive
Compensation,which sum was formerly paid to the General Manager as non-matching
deferred compensation pursuant to the District’s Deferred Compensation Program for
Management employees.
Section 5 A Third Amended Contract of Employment between the District
and the General Manager,effective July 1,1999,setting forth the terms and conditions
of employment,is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting held August 25,1999.
