Home My WebLink AboutResolution 1996-0081-7RESOLUTION NO.96-81-7 ORDERING ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.7 (NO.151 -GOODMAN ANNEXATION A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.7 OF ORANGE COUNTY,CALIFORNIA, ORDERING ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE DISTRICT (ANNEXATION NO.151 -GOODMAN ANNEXATION TO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.7) The Board of Directors of County Sanitation District No.7 of Orange County,California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,DETERMINE AND ORDER: Section 1 That a request has heretofore been made to County Sanitation District No.7 for annexation of territory to the District by means of a petition filed by the property owners, Lawrence and Sharlene Goodman;and, Section 2 That the designation assigned by the District to the territory proposed to be annexed is “Annexation No.151 -Goodman Annexation to County Sanitation District No.7”,the exterior boundaries of which are described on Exhibit “A”and shown on Exhibit “B”attached hereto and by reference made a part of this resolution;and, Section 3 That pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985,Division 3,commencing with Section 56000 of the California Government Code, application has heretofore been made by District No.7 to the Local Agency Formation Commission for annexation of said territory to County Sanitation District No.7,by means of Resolution No.96-50-7 filed with said Commission by said District;and, Section 4 That the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Orange adopted its Resolution No.96-12 on July 3,1996 making determinations and approving proposed Annexation No.151 -Goodman Annexation to County Sanitation District No.7 of Orange County,California,without notice or hearing and without election;and, Section 5 That the territory hereinbefore referred to is uninhabited;and, Section 6 That the reason for annexing said territory is to obtain and provide public sanitary sewer service to said territory;and, Section 7 That payment of annexation acreage fees in the amount of $3,904.00 has been made and all terms and conditions specified by the Local Agency Formation Commission have been satisfied;and, -Section 8 That the District has agreed,pursuant to Section 99(h)(1)of the Revenue and Taxation Code,to waive its ad valorem property tax allocation exchange with other affected taxing agencies;and, Section 9 That the regular County assessment roll is utilized by this District;and, Section 10 That the affected territory will be taxed for the existing bonded indebtedness of District No.7;and, Section II That,as authorized by resolution of the Local Agency Formation Commission pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985, Di.vision 3,Section 56837 of the California Government Code,the territory hereinbefore referred to and described hereinabove,be,and is hereby,ordered annexed to County Sanitation District No.7 without notice or hearing and without election;and, Section 12 That the Secretary of District No.7 transmit a certified copy of this resolution,with applicable fees required by Section 54902.5 of the Government Code,to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County.
