STATE PARK ANNEXATION
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY
SANITATION DISTRICT NO.5 OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA,AUTHORIZING INITIATION OF PROCEEDINGS
AND REQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION
COMMISSION TO TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR ANNEXATION TO
THE DISTRICT OF TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO.
9 -CRYSTAL COVE STATE PARK ANNEXATION TO COUNTY
SANITATION DISTRICT NO.5
The Board of Directors of County Sanitation District No.5 of Orange County,
California,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,DETERMINE AND ORDER:
Section 1 That proceedings are hereby authorized to be initiated by District No.5,
and the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County is hereby requested to take
proceedings for the annexation of territory designated as “Annexation No.9 -Crystal Cove
State Park Annexation to County Sanitation District No.5”,the boundaries of which are
more particularly described and delineated on Exhibits “A”and “B”attached hereto and by
reference made a part of this resolution,according to the terms and conditions hereinafter
set forth in this resolution in the manner provided by the Cortese-Knox Local Government
Reorganization Act of 1985;and,
Section 2 That this proposal is made pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Local
Government Reorganization Act of 1 985,Division 3,commencing with Section 56000 of
the California Government Code;and,
Section 3 That this application is for the purpose of annexing approximately
20 acres of territory to District No.5 in the vicinity known as the Historic District of
Crystal Cove State Park in unincorporated county territory,to provide sanitary sewer
service to said territory,which said service is not now provided by any public agency,as
requested by State of California,Department of Parks and Recreation,owners of said
property;and,
Section 4 That the territory to be annexed is uninhabited;and,
Section 5 That this proposal is consistent with the adopted sphere of influence of
the affected District;and,
Section 6 That the proposed Annexation No.9 -Crystal Cove State Park
Annexation to District No.5,shall be subject to the condition that all fees required to be
~_-—paid to the District must be satisfied prior to completion of the annexation proceedings;
and,
Section 7 That the District hereby agrees,pursuant to Section 99.1 of the
Revenue and Taxation Code,to waive its ad valorem property tax allocation exchange with
other affected taxing agencies.

and 2700.00 feet Southeasterly from the Southwesterly prolongation of said
Northwesterly line of said Block 132,said point also being an angle point in

THENCE following along said existing boundary line per said annexation and
said parallel line North 40°00’OO”East,350.00 feet,-more or less to an angle
point of said district and a point on said centerline of said Pacific Coast
Highway;
THENCE continuing along said existing boundary line of said district and
said centerline of Pacific Coast Highway in a general Northwesterly direction
through their various courses to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
The above described parcel of land contains 20.0:acres,more or less.
