SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BLACK R1 VEATCH FOR
ENGINEERING EVALUATION,DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
SUPPORT SERVICES FOR JOB NOS.P1.-4~AND P2-~
A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE BOARDS OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY
SANITATION DISTRICTS NOS.1,2,3,5,6,7,11,13 AND 14 OF ORANGE
COUNTY,CALIFORNIA,APPROVING ADDENDUM NO.1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BLACK &VEATCH FOR ENGINEERING
EVALUATION,DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES REQUIRED
FOR CHEMICAL AND WASTEHAULER FACILITY MODIFICATIONS AT PLANT
NO.1,JOB NO.P1-46,AND CHEMICAL AND PLANT WATER FACILITY
MODIFICATIONS AT PLANT NO.2,JOB NO.P2-55,PROVIDING FOR
ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES PERTAINING TO CHEMICAL
FEED FACILITIES MODIFICATIONS

WHEREAS,the Districts have heretofore entered into an agreement with Black &
Veatch for engineering evaluation,design and construction support services required for
Chemical and Wastehauler Facility Modifications at Plant No.1,Job No.P1-46,and
Chemical and Plant Water Facility Modifications at Plant No.2,Job No.P2-55;and,
WHEREAS,it is now deemed appropriate to amend said agreement to provide for
additional engineering design services pertaining to chemical feed facilities modifications;
and,
WHEREAS,pursuant to authorization of the Boards of Directors on August 10,1994,
the Selection Committee has negotiated and certified a fee for said additional services,in
accordance with established procedures for the selection of professional services.
NOW,THEREFORE,the Boards of Directors of County Sanitation Districts Nos.1,2,
3,5,6,7,11,13 and 14 of Orange County,California,
DO HEREBY RESOLVE,DETERMINE AND ORDER:
Sc~t-tion 1 That Addendum No.1 dated September 14,1994,to that certain
Professional Services Agreement dated July 14,1993,by and between County Sanitation
District No.1,acting for itself and on behalf of Districts Nos.2,3,5,6,7,11,13 and 14,
and Black &Veatch for engineering evaluation,design and construction support services
required for Chemical and Wastehauler Facility Modifications at Plant No.1,Job No.P1-46,
and Chemical and Plant Water Facility Modifications at Plant No.2,Job No.P2-55,is
hereby approved and accepted;and,
No.P2-55,is hereby approved and accepted;and,
Section 2 That the contract provision for fees be increased by an amount not to
exceed $11 ,100.00,as follows,which increases the total authorized compensation from
$379,71 5.OOto an amount not to exceed $390,815.00:

Section 3.That the Chairman and Secretary of District No.1,acting for itself and
on behalf of Districts Nos.2,3,5,6,7,11,13 and 14,are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said Addendum No.1 in form approved by the General Counsel.
