Home My WebLink AboutResolution 1987 - 0037RESOLUTION NO.87-37-2 ORDERI~3 ANNEXATION OF TERRflORY ‘10 COUNTY SANIT?~TION DISTRICT NO.2 (ANNEXATION NO.68 - lAURENCE ANNEXATION A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRE~0RS OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.2 OF ORA1~E COUNTY, CALIBORNIA,ORDERIb~ANNEXATION OF TERRI’1ORY ‘10 THE DISTRICT (ANNEXATION NO.68 -LAURENCE ANNEXATION ‘10 COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.2) The Board of Directors of County Sanitation District No.2 of Orange County, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,DETERMINE AND ORDER: Section 1 That a request has heretofore been made to County Sanitation District No.2 for annexation of territory to the District by means of a petition filed by the property c~ners,Ronald E.and Sandra S.Laurence;and, Section 2 That the designation assigned by the District to the territory ( proposed to be annexed is “Annexation No.68 -Laurence Annexation to County ~nitation District No.2”,the exterior boundaries of which are described on Exhibit “A”and shown on Exhibit “B”attached hereto and by reference made a part of this resolution;and, Section 3 That pursuant to the Cortese—Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985,Division 3,cczmtencing with Section 56000 of the California Government Code,application has heretofore been made by District No.2 to the Local Agency Formation Carmission for annexation of said territory to County Sanitation District No.2,by means of Resolution No.87-5—2,filed with said Camiission by said District;and, Section 4 That the Local Agency Formation Cannission of the County of Orange adopted its Resolution No.87—17 on April 1,1987,making determinations and approving proposed Annexation No.68 -Laurence Annexation to County Sanitation District No.2 of Orange County,California,without notice or hearing and without election;and, f Section 5 That the territory hereinbef ore referred to is uninhabited;and, Section 6 That the reason for annexing said territory is to obtain and provide public sanitary sewer service to said territory;and, Section 7 That payment of annexation acreage fees in the anount of $3,590 has been made and all terms and conditions specified by the Local Agency Formation Carmission have been satisfied;and, Section 8 That the District has agreed,pursuant to Section 99(h)(1)of the Revenue and Taxation Code,to waive its ad valorem property tax allocation exchange with other affected taxing agencies;and, Section 9 That the regular County assessment roll is utilized by this District;and, Section 10 That the affected territory will be taxed for the existing honded indebtedness of District No.2;and, Section 11 That,as authorized by resolution of the Local Agency Formation Camiission pursuant to the Cortese—Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985,Division 3,Section 56837 of the California Government Code,the territory hereinbef ore referred to and described hereinabove,be,and is hereby,ordered annexed to County Sanitation District No.2 without notice or hearing and without election;and, Section 12 That the Secretary of District No.2 transmit a certified copy of this resolution,with applicable fees required by Section 54902.5 of the Government Code,to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Carmission of Orange County. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting held May 13,1987. Block 6154 EXHIBIT “A” Module 63 ANNEXATION NO.68 -LAURENCE ANNEXATION TO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.2 THAT portion of Section 6,Township 4 South,Range 8 West,San Bernardino 2 Meridian,as shown on map filed in Book 92,Pages 35 and 36 of Parcel Maps,recorded 3 in the Office of County Recorder of Orange County,located in the City of Anaheim, 4 County of Orange,State of California,described as follows: 5 BEGINNING at an angle point in the existing boundary line of Sanitation District 6 No.2 as established by “Annexation No.43 -Forrester Annexation”,said angle point 7 also being at the Northeast corner of Parcel 2 as shown on a map filed in Book 92, 8 pages 35 and 36 of Parcel Maps,thence following along said existing boundary line 9 and along the boundary line of said Parcel 2 the following courses:South 35°22’OO” 10 East,207.62 feet;thence leaving said existing boundary line,continuing along said 11 Parcel 2 through the following described courses:South 67°51’O7”West,93.23 feet; 12 thence South 55°lO’43”West,38.35 feet,thence North 35°22’OO”West,185.93 feet to i point in said existing boundary line as established by “Annexation No.17 —Country .*~_Hill Road”to said District said point being on a non-tangent curve in the centerline 15 of Country Hill Road,shown on said annexation,concave Northwesterly and having a 16 radius of 1170.00 feet,a radial line to said point bears North 33°21’38”West;thence 17 Northeasterly along said existing boundary lIne per said annexation and per 18 “Annexation No.33 —Guy Annexation”,said curve and said centerline through a central 19 angle of 2°OO’22”an arc distance of 40.97 feet and North 54°38’OO”East,88.15 feet 20 to the Point of Beginning. 21 THE above described parcel of land contains 0.575 acres.Attached and made a 22 part of is a map designated as EXHIBIT “B”. 23 24 This proposal does meet the Prepared by: approval of.the Orange County 25 Surveyor’s office .
