Home My WebLink AboutResolution 1974 - 0038, I ,, I I i • • RESOLUTION NO. 74-38-7 AUTHORIZING INITIATION OF PROCEEDINGS -ANNEXATION NO. 39 -IRVINE INDUSTRIAL ANNEXATION A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 7 OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING.THE INITIATION OF PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE DISTRICT (ANNEXATION NO. 39 -IRVINE INDUSTRIAL ANNEXATION TO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 7 • • • • • • • • • • • The Board of Directors of County Sanitation District No. 7 of Orange County, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER: That an application for annexation of territory to itself be made to the Local Agency Formation Commission as follows: Section l. That this proposal is made pursuant to Division l (District Reorganization Act of 1965) of Title 6 of the Government Code of the State of California; and, Section 2. That this application is for the purpose of annexing approximately 270 acres in the vicinity of the area generally bounded by the Santa Ana Freeway, Jamboree Road, Santa Fe Railroad, and Myford Road to provide sanitary sewer service to said territory as requested by the Irvine Industrial Complex, owner of said property; and, Section 3. That the territory to be annexed is uninhab~ted; and, Section 4. That the designation assigned to the territory proposed to be' annexed is "Annexation No. 39 -Irvine Industrial Annexation to County Sanitation District No. 7", the boundaries of which are more particularly described and delineated on Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B", attached hereto and by reference made a part of this resolution; and, Section 5. That annexation of said territory shall be subject to the following conditions: (a) Payment of $428 per acre for the 270 acres; and, (b) Detachment of the 270 acres from the Irvine Ranch Water District, Improvement District No. 2, and, • • (c) That the proponents construct a permanent pumping station and force main in accordance with District No. 7's requirements to serve the needs of the undeveloped 270 acres of property for dis- charge directly into the District's Red Hill Sewer system, and, (d) Annexation of the 270 acres to the 70th Sewer Maintenance District to pay for the operation and maintenance of the collector facilities and pumping station and force main, and, ( e) A. contractual arrangement between District No. 7 and the Irvine Ranch Water District to operate and maintain the local sewer collection system within the 176-acre residential area excluded from the proponent's original annexation request so service is being provided by the same.entity within the City of Tustin; and, Section 6. That request is hereby made that such proceedings as required by law be taken to complete this annexation. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting held February 26, 1974 .
