ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY AT PLANT NO.2
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARDS OF DIRECTORS OF
COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICTS NOS.1,2,3,5,
6,7 AND 11 OF ORANGE COUNTY,CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY AT
PLANT NO.2
WHEREAS,the real property hereinafter described,is necessary
and convenient for the continued operation,maintenance and further
development of the treatment plant facilities owned by each District
jointly with the other County Sanitation Districts,parties to the
Joint Ownership,Operation and Construction Agreement dated
March 10,1971;and,
•WHEREAS,the subject real property has been appraised and
negotiations by the landowner and by the Districts have taken place
and an agreement has been reached;and,
WHEREAS,the purchase price of the subject real property is not

less than the appraised value of the real property approved by the
Districts.
NOW,THEREFORE,THE BOARDS OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY SANITATION
DISTRICTS NOS.1,2,3,5,6,7 AND 11 OF ORANGE COUNTY,
DO HEREBY RESOLVE,DETERMINE AND ORDER:
Section 1 That the Districts shall acquire jointly as tenants
in common that real property which is more particularly described
on Exhibit “A”attached hereto and by reference made a part of this
resolution;and,
Section 2 That payment to Covington Brothers in the sum of
$351,000.00 upon recording of a Grant Deed conveying title to the
said Districts as tenants in common and delivering a policy of title
insurance guaranteeing Districts’title to said real property in
form approved by the General Counsel of Districts,is hereby
authorized;and,
Section 3 That the Districts shall pay their proportionate
share of the total purchase price as determined by the Joint Ownership,
Operation and Construction Agreement out of the Capital Outlay
Revolving Fund;and,
Section ~That the General Counsel be and is hereby
authorized to sign a warrant demand and warrant book drawn on the
Capital Outlay Revolving Fund in the above amount plus incidental
fees for acquisition of said property.

That portion of the southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section
‘18,in Township 6 South,Range 10 West,in the Rancho Las Bolsas,City of
Huntington Beach,as shown on.a map thereof recorded in book 51,page 14,
Miscellaneous Maps,records of said Orange County,lying West of the
Easterly line of the Rancho Las Bolsas,as shown on a map thereof recorded
in book 2,pages 332 and 333,Patents,records of Los Angeles County,
California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion thereof conveyed to the Newbert Protection
District,’by deed recorded June 16,1911,in book 197,page 264,Deeds,
records of said Orange County.
ALSO EXCEPTING those portions thereof included in the strips of land
conveyed to the City of Santa Ana,by deed recorded June 21,1912,in book
218,page.57,Deeds,records of said Orange County,and by deed recorded
August’20,1924,in book 538,page 47,Deeds,records of said Orange
County.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of said land granted to Huntington
Beach City School District of Orange County,California,by deed recorded
October 1,1969,in book 9094,page 880 of Official Records,described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Southeast one—quarter of the
Southeast one—quarter of Section 18 being the Southeast corner of Tract
5017 as shown on a map recorded in book 239,pages 5 and 6 of said Mis
cellaneous Maps;thence along the North line of said Southeast one—quarter
of the Southeast one—quarter ~of Section 18,North 89°37’18”East 751.16
feet to a point distant 351.57 feet measured South 89°37’18”West there—
along from the Westerly line of Brookhurst Street,,80.00 feet wide,as
described in a deed to said County of Orange,recorded June 1-7,1953,in
book 2522,page 502 of Official Records of said County and which point
is a point in a curve concentric with said Westerly line of Brookhurst
Street,concave Northwesterly having a radius of 2830 feet and from which
point a radial bears South 69°00’36.”East;thence along said concentric
curve Southeasterly 651.08 feet through a central angle of 13°10’54”to
a point in a line parallel with the Northerly line of the Southeast one-,
quarter of the Southeast one—quarter -of said Section 18,’from which point
a radial bears South 53°49’42”East;thence along said parallel line
South 89°37’18”West 294.11 feet;thence South 00°37’30”East 26.00

highways commonly known as Wright Street and Hamilton Avenue,said
intersection being the East one—quarter corner of Section18,T.6 S.
10 W.,-S.B.B.&M.,according to a sectionized survey of Rancho
i.as Bolsas by the Stearns Ranchos Company,and running thence,from
said point of beginning,South 00,39’00”East 274.40 feet to the
beginning of a curve,concave Northwesterly,and having a radius of
3200.00 feet;thence Southwesterly along said curve,through a central
angle of 38°16’48”,2137.96 feet to a line tangent;thence South
370 37’48”West,along said tangent line,4186.99 feet to an intersection
with the surveyed line of that certain highway commonly known as Coast
Highway,.said point also being the Southerly end of the center line of
Bushard Street as described in Deed to Orange County recorded in book
