HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1971 - 0100RESOLUTION NO, 71-100 AUTI-IJ::l.IZING .SETT'·~'lrn;JT OF ACCRUED C(jg}~~1°Cl\Y. ·Tl!·lB l"!'O).{ l 1iF.nAGR··lEHT AHD S UPEl{v'IS ORY PEI;:;:; OlJNEL A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARDS OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICTS NOSo 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, AND 11, OF On.ANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHOHIZH!G SETTLEHENT OF ACCRUED COJli:PENSA'l'OHY TTI1E FOR MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY PEIGONNEL * * * * * * * * * * WHEREAS: On May 12, 1971, the Boards of Directors of' County Sanitation Districts Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and ll, of Orange County, California, adopted Resolution No. 71-64, amending Resolutions Nos. 70-3 and 71-3, relating to overtime for management and supervisory employees; and, WHEHEAS: Said Resolution No. 71-64 provides that man&.r;en~nt and supervisory personnel shslJ. not be compensated for overtime services performed a.ftci' lfa.y 12, 1971; and, WHEREAS: 'l'he Districts 1 General Counsel has detenEined that compensatory time accumulated b:/ management and supe;:·JJ._2c:c·y employees, prior to May 12, 1971, is a. vested property right of' said employees; and, WHEREAS: It is the intent of the Boards of Directors o:f' County Sanitation Districts Nos. l, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 11, to provide for a mutually satisfactory settlement :ln considen"'tion of said. compensatory time accumulated by management c:.nd _supervisor·y employees prior to May 12, 1971. NOW TlillREFORE, BE IT HESOLVED, DETE~r-lINED AND ORDERJ0: Section L Tha.t District No. 1, acting as a.gent; for i t-seJ_f and Districts Nos. 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 11, be authorized to enter j_nto agreer'.lents pro1,i:Lng for the settlement of compensatory tD:1e accrued by man13..gement and supervisory employees, prior to Ma.y 12, 1971_; and, Section 2. That those cert.a.in Agreements Re Compensation for Acc1·ued Overtime of mm1a.gemeet and 1::-:.r::isrv:lsory c;mployees, arc h2reby approved; and~ Section 3. That the Chairman of District No. 1 be authorized to sign said agreements providing for payment in "full settlement of accrued compensatory time as follows: Paul G. Brown William N. Clarke Theodore A. Dunn Marshall B. F.airres Edward R. Francis Tony Gutierrez Fred A. Harper Willia.rn H. Landon Gregg T. Pamson Roy W. Pendergraft, Jr. Gary G. Streed J. That the Chairman of District No. 1 be authorized to sign agreements providing for compensatory time to be taken off within four yea.rs of the date of said agreement, without loss of other employee benefit accruals, as follows: Gerald Baldwin 6 hours Ray E. Lewis 46 hours Douglas E.
