The Boards of Directors of County Sanitation Districts
Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 11, of Orange County, California,
DO HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER:
Section 1. That the general prevailing wage rate and_
the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work within thco
territory of the Districts for each of the crafts, classifications
or types of workmen as set forth on SCHEDULES 11 A11 and 11 B11
, attached
hereto and made a part of this resolution as though fully set
forth h8rein, is hereby approved and a,dopti::d; and,
Sect~on 2. That Resolution No. 70-116, adopted by the
Beards of Directors of the County Sanitation Districts on
August 12, 1970, establishing the general hourly prevailing '/;age
rate and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime
work~ is hereby repealed and rescinded and made of no further effect;
and,
Section 3. That all other resolutions or motions or portions
thereof' in conflict herewith, are hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting held July 14, 1971.

The wage rates listed below are in accordance with the terms of the Southern California Master Labor Agreement
for the Construction Industry and cover the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino,
Imperial, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern, Inyo and Mono.
ADDITIONAL COST ITEMS: For Subsistence Allowance, Transportation and Travel Time Allowance, Overtime, Apprentice
Progra.~ Contributions, Industry Promotional Funds, Administrative Funds, Cash Bond Deposits, etc., contact the
Local Union or its District Council having jurisdiction.
RIGGERS and WELDERS FOR THE SIX BASIC TRADES: Same wage scales as crafts to which rigging and welding are incidental.

Seven consecutive hours, excluding meal period, to begin at 7:00, 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. shall constitute a regular
day's work for which eight times the straight-time hourly rate shall be paid on all shifts. Single shift
premiums shall not apply on tunnels less than· 200 feet.
Note: The clasi:>ification "Shifter" receives a 35¢ per hour differential-over the highest classification over
which he has leadership.

Engineer under his supervision.

Underground Premiwn.)
2. Crawler Tractor (Quad 9) -50¢ per hour additional.
3, Push-Pull Rigs -50¢ per hour additional.
4. Tower Cranes -45¢ per hour additional.
5, 3 Drum Hoist -15¢ per hour additional.
6. All work performed in Tunnels -35¢ per hour additional.
(Also includes Survey and Hydrographic work.)
