INCREASING CONNECTION CHARGES ESTABLISHED BY
ORDINANCE NO.502,EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1,1970
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY
SANITATION DISTRICT NO.5,OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA,INCREASING CONNECTION CHARGES ESTA
BLISHED BY ORDINANCE NO.502,EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1,
1970
WHEREAS,Ordinance No.502 of the District,as amended November
13,1968,provides that specified increases in sewer connection charges
shall become effective on January 1,1970 and on each succeeding
January 1,provided the Directors of the District,by resolution,
duly so resolve and direct.
NOW,THEREFORE,the Board of Directors of County Sanitation
District No.5 does hereby resolve and direct as follows:
Section l~Effective January 1,1970,the connection charge
for new construction,single dwelling units as defined by Ordinance
No.502,shall be $145.
Section 2 Effective January 1,1970,the connection charge
for new construction,multiple dwelling units as defined by
Ordinance No.502,shall be $145 for each dwelling unit or $7.25 for
each plumbing fixture unit contained within such construction,
whichever sum is less.
Section 3 Effective January 1,1970,the connection charge
for new construction,other than dwelling units as defined by
Ordinance No.502,shall be $7.25 for each plumbing fixture unit and
a minimum connection charge for such new construction shall be $72.50.
Section 4 Effective January 1,1970,the connection charge
for replacement buildings as defined by Ordinance No.502,shall be
calculated on the same basis as provided in Sections 1,2,and 3
hereinabove and the credit to be allowed against such connection
charges shall be calculated at $145 per dwelling unit replaced or
$7.25 per plumbing fixture unit replaced,whichever sum is more.
Section 5 Effective January 1,1970,the connection charges
for additions to or alterations of existing buildings as defined by
Ordinance No.502,shall be $7.25 for each plumbing fixture unit
added and the credit for elimination of existing fixture units shall
be calculated at $7.25 per fixture unit.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular adjourned meeting held November
25,1969.
