Home My WebLink AboutResolution 1966 - 00521 RESOLUTION NO.66-52 - 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.7 OF ORANGE 3 COUNTY,CALIFORNIA,ORDERING THE WORK DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO.66-19-7, 4 AS AMENDED,MODIFIED AND CHANGED BY RESOLUTION NO.66-fl 51 -7,IN”ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.6”OF SAID DISTRICT. ‘7 THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT 81 NO.7 OF ORANGE COUNTY,CALIFORNIA.pursuant to the provisions of the 9 “Improvement Act of 1911,”being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code 10 of the State of California,does RESOLVE as follows: 11 That the public interest and convenience require the work hereinafter 121 mentioned to be done and,therefore,the said Board of Directors hereby 13 orders the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said 14~County Sanitation District No.7 of Orange County,to-wit: 15 The construction of sanitary sewers and all appurtenances and all 161 appurtenant work in “ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.6”in said County Sanitation 17 District No.7 of Orange County,all as more particularly described in Reso 18 lution of Intention No.66-19-7,passed and adopted by the Board of Directors 19 of said Sanitafion District on March 9,1966,as amended,modified and 20~changes by Resolution.No.66-51-7,passed and adopted by said Board of 21 Directors on May 4,1966. 221 For further particulars,reference is hereby made to said Resolution 231 of Intention No.66-19-7 and to Modification Resolution No.66-51-7,and to the 24 plans,profiles and drawings on file in the offices of the Secretary and the 25 Engineer of Work of said sanitation district,and to the specifications for the 25 said work heretofore adopted by the said Board of Directors and on file in the 27 offices of the Secretary and the Engineer of Work for said district,and all of 28 said plans,profiles,drawings and specifications heretofore approved by the 29 Board of Directors of said County Sanitation District No.7 are incorporated 30 herein and reference is hereby made thereto for a more particular description 31 of said work. 32 Said Board of Directors has determined and declared that the contem LAW OYFICU OY RIMSL.HARVEY& H~LSING FOURTH FLOOR 5 NORTH MAIN ST. SANTA ANn.—l — ,I,ORN,A 92702 1 plated work and improvement heretofore mentioned was,in the opinion of said 2 Board of Directors,of more than local or ordinary public benefit,and the 3 said Board of Directors has made the expense of said work chargeable upon a 4 district.For the particular description of said district,reference is hereby 5 made to said Resolution of Intention No.66-19-7,as amended by Modification 6 Resolution No.66-51-7. 7 Said Board of Directors has determined and declared that serial 8 bonds,be~ing interest at the rate of six per cent (6%)per annum and extend 9 ing over a period ending nine (9)years from the second day of January next 10 succeeding the next September 1st following their date,will be issued hereunde 11~in the manner providedby the “Improvement Act of 1911,11 being Part 5,Divi 12~sion 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,to represent 13 each assessment of Fifty Dollars ($50.00)or more remaining unpaid at the 14~expiration of the last date fixed for pa~ent of assessment in the notice to 15 ,property owners mailed pursuant to the provisions of Section 5390 of the 16 Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. 17 Sal d Board of Directors has elected and determined to have the 18 redemption provisions of said bonds provide a premium of five per cent (5%) 19 of the unmatured principal in accordance with the provisions of Section 6464 20 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. 21 All of the work herein ordered shall be done and carried through in 22~pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California,designated 23~the “Improvement Act of 1911,11 being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways 24~Code. 25 All of the said work shall be done under the direction of and to the 26 satisfaction of the Engineer of Work and all of the materials used shall comply 27 with the specifications and be to the satisfaction of the Engineer of Work. 28 The Secretary of said County Sanitation District No.7 is hereby 29 directed to post conspicuously for five (5)days on or near the Chamber door 30 of the Board of Directors of said county sanitation district,in the manner and 31 form required by said Code,a Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals or Bids for 32 doing the work herein ordered,and the Secretary is hereby directed to publish LAW OYFIC~S OW I RlMEL.HARVEY~ HEI.SING yOu~yu rLoOR 1010 NORl’H IAI~OT.
