A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
DISTRICT NO. 7, COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICTS OF
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY
SEWERS AND APPURTENANCES AND ALL APPURTENANT
WORK IN "ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 4" IN SAID SANITA-
TION DISTRICT; DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER
THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LANDS, RIGHTS-OF-WAY
AND EASEMENTS NECESSARY IN CONNECTION WITH SAID
WORK AND IMPROVEMENT AND WITHIN THE LIMITS AL-
LOWED BY LAW TO ASSESS THE COSTS OF SAID ACQUI-
. SITION, INCLUDING THE INCIDENTAL COSTS AND EX-
PENSES THEREOF, AS PART OF THE COST OF SAID WORK
AND IMPROVEMENT; DECLARING THE ACQUISITION OF

OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT AND DESCRIBING THE

.d.CQUISITION
SECTION 1: That the public interest, necessity and convenience
24 require and it is the intention of District No. 7, County Sanitation Districts
25 of Orange County, California, to order the acquisition of the following des-
26 cribed lands, easements and rights-of-way, all of which are hereby deter-
27 mined to be necessary in connection with the work and improveme:i;it consisting
28 of the construction of sanitary sewers and all appurtenances and appurtenant
~9 work, described in Section 2-hereof, for the said "ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
30 NO. 4," and within the limits allowed by law to assess the costs of said acqui-
31 sition, including all incidental expenses thereof, as a part of the cost of said
32 work and improvement, to;-wit:

SECTION 4: That the said acquisition of lands,, easements and rights-
of-way for all public sewer purposes and the said contemplated work and im-
provement, as aforesaid, is of more than local or ordinary public benefit and
the said Board of Directors hereby makes the expenses of said acquisition,,

day of September, 1963, indicating by said boundary lines the extent of the
territory included within the proposed assessment district, and which map or
plat is on file in the office of the Secretary of County Sanitation Districts of
Orange County, ~alifornia, and a copy of which is on file in the office of the
Engineer of Work, EXCEPTING FROM the area shown within and delineated
upon said map or plat hereinabove referred to, the area of all public streets,
public avenues, public lanes, public roads, public drives, public courts,

to the public, and any lot or parcel of land belonging to the United States, and

26 SECTION 5:
DESCRIPTION OF BONDS
That serial bonds, bearing interest at the rate of six per I
27 cent (6%) per annum, shall be issued to represent each assessment of Fifty
28 Dollars ($50. 00) or more, remaining unpaid for thirty (30) days after the date
29 of recording the warrant. Said serial bonds shall extend over a period ending
30 nine (9) years from the second day of January next succeeding the next Septem-
31 ber 1st following their date. Payments on the principal of unpaid assessments

Section 5260 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the
Board of Directors of District No. 7, County Sanitation Districts of Orange

of this Board of Directors, the public interest will not be served by allowing
the property owners to take the contract and the property owners will not be
allowed or permitted to take the contract. The. Board of Directors of said

FRED A. HARPER, being first duly sworn, deposes and says:
That at all times herein mentioned, he was and now is the duly
appointed and acting Secretary of County Sanitation District No. 7 of Orange
County, California;
That pursuant to statute, the "Improvement Act of 1911," Part 3 of
Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, he de-
posited in the United States mail,, with postage prepaid,, a Notice of Filing
Assessment,, a copy of which is attached hereto, for the work and improve-
ment consisting of the construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances and
appurtenant work in "ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 4" in said sanitation dis-
trict,, as per Resolution of Intention No. 63-145-7,, of said district. Said
notices were mailed to all persons whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized tax or assessment roll of the County of Orange, State of
California, and said notices were prepared and mailed pursuant to the require-
ments of Sections 5362 to 5365,, inclusive,, of the above mentioned Code, and
were deposited in the United States Post Office at Fountain Valley,, California,,
on the 1!9th--day of October ,, 1964.
That also pursuant to said statute and/ or Code,, he duly posted con-
spicuously near the Chamber door of the Board of Directors of said sanitation
district a copy of the published notice of filing said assessment,, a copy of
which notice is also attached hereto; that said last named notice was so
posted for the first time on the 20th day of October ,, 1964,, and the
same remained so posted for five fUll days thereafter.
