RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY
SANITATION DISTRICT NO.3 OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA,OUTLINING PROCEDURE FOR CHECKING
OF SEWERAGE FACILITY PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND FOR INSPECTION OF CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE
FACILITIES WITHIN A PORTION OF THE DISTRICT AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.8Lii~_3
The Board of Directors of County Sanitation District No.3 of
Orange County,California
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,DETERMINE AND ORDER:
Section 1.That all persons seeking to construct sewerage
facilities,hereinafter called ‘applicant”,in areas within the
District to be served by Los Angeles County Sanitation District
No.18,under the terms of the Agreement dated June 8,1960,and which
areas are not included within or adjacent to a public agency autho
rized to construct sewerage facilities,shall submit complete plans
and specifications to the District Office thirty days prior to con
struction thereof for checking and approval by the District.
Section 2.That at the time the plans and specifications are
submitted to the District for checking,the applicant shall deposit
with the Director of Finance of the District a sum of money to
defray the costs of checking and inspecting to be determined as
follows:
(a)If the proposed development is a residential
subdivision,a sum equal to $3.00 for each
proposed subdivision lOt shall be deposited.
(b)If a proposed development is a commercial
development or any other type of development
other than residential subdivision,an amount
equal to one and one-half percent of the esti
mated construction cost of the sewerage facilities
required.

Section 3.That all construction of sewerage facilities in
areas within the District to be served by Los Angeles County Sani
tation District No.18,under the terms of the Agreement dated June
8,1960,and which areas are not included within a public agency
authorized to construct sewerage facilities,shall be inspected and
approved by the District before any applicant can be released from
his construction bond posted,with the County of Orange.
Section 4.That the cost of checking the plans and specifi
cations and the inspection of the construction shall be borne by the
applicant and shall be an amount equal to three and~one-half percent
of the amount of the bond required by the County of Orange to
guarantee construction of the sewerage facilities required in the
development.
Section 5.That the District shall deposit all such monies
received pursuant to this resolution in its operating fund.That no
refund shall be made by the District except in case of overpayment
of a deposit in an amount in excess of three and one-half percent
of the amount of the bond~required by the County of Orange to
guarantee construction of the sewerage facilities required in the
development.
Section 6.That Resolution No.844-3 adopted June 8,1960 is
hereby rescinded and made of no further effect.
