HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 704 O R D I N A N C E Ordinance No. 704 An Ordinance Repealing Ordinance No. 702 Entitled "An Ordinance Providing for the Levy and Collection of Fees and Charges for the Maintenance and Operation Costs of the District" . . The Board of Directors of County Sanitation District No. 7 of Orange County, California, does ordain as follows: WHEREAS, General Obligation Ponds were authorized at a special election held January 23, 1962, for the purpose of providing main trunk and sub-trunk sewer lines to serve the entire territory of the Ptstrict: NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of County Sanitation District No. 7 of Orange County, California, acting in the best public interests, does ordain as follows: ARTICLE I Ordinance No. 702 entitled "An Ordinance Providing for the Levy and Collection of Fees and Charges for the Maintenance and Operation Costs of the District" is hereby repealed and .made of no further effect. ARTICLE II No charges for operation and maintenance of the sewerage facilities of the District as established and set forth in Ordinance No. 702 shall be made to the users of the sewerage facilities from and after December 31, 1961, except and by means of the general tax levy on behalf of the District. ARTICLE III The Chairman of the Board of Directors of County Sanita- tion District No. 7 of Orange County, California, shall sign this ordinance, and the Secretary of the District shall attest thereto and certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in The Tustin News, a weekly newspaper _a_ of general circulation printed, published and circulated in County Sanitation District No. 7 of Orange County, California, within fifteen days after the date of the passage of this ordinance by said Hoard of Directors; and said ordinance shall take effect March 1, 1962. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Hoard of Directors of County Sanitation District No. 7 of Orange County, California, at an adjourned regular meeting held on the 29th day of January 1962.
