Report of the
Joint Chairman
Joint Chairman Saitarelli announced that
the Executive Committee would not be
meeting during the month of January.
The General Manager reported that he would
be going to Washington D.C.during the
following week to work with the Environmental
Protection Agency staff in drafting regula
tions to implement recent amendments to the Water Pollution Control Act
adopted by Congress in December,1977.Mr.Harper reported that he did not
foresee any problem on the ad valorem tax issue;however,he is concerned
over the proposed regulations regarding secondary treatment waiver.
