MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING

Pursuant to adjournment of the adjourned regular meeting
held March 25,1970,the Board of Directors of County Sanitation
District No.7 met in an adjourned regular meeting at the above
hour and date.
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.The
roll was called,and.the Secretary reported a quorum present.

Canvass of returns of This being the time and place
special bond election fixed by the Board for canvassing
held March 214,1970 the returns of the special bond
election held March 24,1970,said
returns were duly canvassed as provided by law.
It was then moved,seconded and duly carried,that the
Board of Directors adopt Resolution No.70-52-7,as follows:

A RESOLUTION OF TILE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.7 OF
ORANGE COUNTY,CALIFORNIA,DECLARING
THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS OF ELECTION
.RETURNS OF ELECTION HELD IN SAID DISTRICT

DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,DETERNINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1 That a special bond election was duly called
and regularly held at said Distrtct on the 2kth of March,1970,
at which election there was submitted to the qualified voters of
said District the following proposition to wit:
BOND PROPOSITION:Shall County Sanitation District No.
7 of Orange County,California,incur a bonded indebtedness
of $6,000,000 for the purpose of paying a portion of the cost
of trunk and subtrunk sewerage facilities in the District
to meet the sewage and industrial waste disposal requirements
thereof by means of the following:(1)The construction
YES of approximately 68,790 feet of trunk sewers and appurtenances
thereto more particularly described as :(a)Sunflower
Trunk,Reach 3,extending from Sunflower Avenue to Red
Hill Avenue;(b)Red Hill Trunk;(c)Tustin-Orange Trunk;
(d)West Relief Trunk;(e)South Irvine Relief Subtrunk;
(f)Main-Dyer Trunk,excepting Reach 25 extending from
Sunflower Avenue to MacArthur Boulevard;(g)Lemon Heights
Relief Subtrunk.(2)The construction by the district in
~.Joint participation with Count.y Sanitation District No.1

of approximately 29,620 feet of trunk sewers and appurtenances
thereto,more particularly described as:(a)Sunflower Trunk,
Reaches 1 and 2 extending from Treatment Plant No.1 to Main
Street;(b)Main-Dyer Trunk,Reach 1 from Sunflower Avenue to
MacArthur Boulevard.(3)The acquisition of all easements,
pipe,machinery,equipment,appurtenances and other property
necessary for any of the foregoing.c-i-)The payment of all
selling expenses,including legal opinions,incident to the
NO sale of all bonds proposed to be issued;all of the fore
going in accordance with a report of Boyle Engineering,
Consulting Engineers,approved and adopted by the Board of
Directors of said County Sanitation District No.7 on December
16,1969,and on file in the office of the Secretary of said
Board,reference to which report is hereby made for further
particulars and in accordance with the provisions of the
County Sanitation District Act?
Section 2 That the-returns of said election~have been duly
and regularly canvassed by this Board as provided by law,and all
•absentee ballots received have been returned and canvassed.
Section 3 That the votes in the precincts(s)established
•for said election for and against said proposition arid the total
votes cast in said precinct(s),and the absentee votes cast for and
against said proposition and the total absentee votes,and the
•total votes cast at said election for and against said proposition
•and upon said proposition.are as follows:

Section 14~That the votes of more than two-thirds of all the
voters voting at said election were cast in favor of the adoption of
said bond proposition,and said bond proposition is hereby declared
to be carried,and this Board is authorized to issue bonds for the
purposes stated therein as provided by law.
Section 5 That the Secretary of this Board is hereby directed
to enter this resolution in full in the minutes of this Board.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting held
March 26,1970.

That the Board of Directors hereby approves and authorizes
paynients as compensation to be made to election officers
serving on the election boards in each of the thirty-one
consolidated voting precincts for the special bond
election of County Sanitation District No.7 held on
March 24,1970,and the payment of rental for use of
polling places,as follows:
Inspectors $21.00 each
Judges $18.00 each
Clerks $18.00 each
Rental of Polling
Places $15.00 each
In accordance with the above,the County Auditor is
hereby authorized and di.rected to pay compensation to
said election officers in accordance with the Election
Officers!Payrolls submitted to the Secretary of the
District;and the County Auditor is hereby authorized
