Pursuant to adjourriments of the regular meeting on February 10,
1965,the Boards of Directors of County Sanitation Districts Nos.2
and 3,of Orange County,California,met in an adjourned regular
meeting at 7:30 p.m.,February 2k,1965,City Hall,Orange,
California.-
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.The roll was
called and the Secretary reported a quorum present for each District’s
Board.
DISTRICT NO.2
Directors present:Rex A.Parks (Chairman),Jim Kanno,

DISTRICTS 2 AND~3 Chairman Cornwel].reported for the
Report of Speci~I Special Contract Committee.Th€
~ontract CoriI~~~Committee met with the staff and
the legal counsel on February 10th
and 2kth,to review the progress and developments with
respect to the lawsuit filed by Districts 2 and 3 against
George Dakovich,et al.
It was the Conimitteets recommendation that the Districts
proceed with the lawsuit against the Contractor.

The General Manager then reviewed for the Directors the
Contract 3-4A sewer deficiencies which were discovered after
the acceptance of the sewer (Contract No.3-4A)by the
Districts0
It was moved,seconded and duly carried,by roll call vote:
That the General Counsel for the Districts be directed
to continue with the litigation on the Miller-Holder Trunk
Sewer,Contract No0 3-4A.
DISTRICTS 2 AND 3 The Chair recognized Mr.Sidney
Report of the engineers L.Lowry,of J.R.Lest.erBoyle
on progress of report and Sidney L,Lowry,who gave
a verbal progress report on the
engineers’studies of present and future sewerage.require
ments In.District #2.
The engineers were employed by the District Apz~il 8,1964,
for preparation of a Preliminary Engineers’Report to
determine the ultimate sewerage requirements far portions
of the District lying northerly of the Anaheim-Olive Road
and including possible annexations to the District extending
northerly and easterly to the County boundary line,and
southerly to the top of the slope draining to the Santa Ana
River,
On November 9,1964,the Board directed the engineers to
expand their study to include the drainage area served by
the Districts’Euclid Trunk Sewer because of the inter
relationship of the Euclid Trunk Sewer and the areas
presently under study.
Following Mr.Lowry’s presentation,the Chair recognized
Mr.Conrad Hohener,of J.R.Lester Boyle and ~idney L.
Lowry,who reported on three possible plans ini~olviflg the
Improvement of the Districts’Euclid Trunk Sewer.
The engineers advised that a formal.report would be pre
sented to the Board for Its consideration in the near,
future.

The Chairman then declared the meeting so adjourned at
9:20 p.m.,February 24,1965.
