Fred A Harper,Secretary~ Public hearing re: Assessment DistrIct •~The S~cretary reported that this ________________ was thetime and:plac:e~fixed for •the hearing of proteste~or objections ___________________- -against the work.or the,district,as •described in Resolution of Intention No.64-59-7,in the matter ofthe construction of sanitarysewers and appurtenant work in ~ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.1,tt as’described in said resolution. - -‘•- DISTRICT NO 7 0 -:~ - ‘1 U The Secretary also reported’that affidavits In support of the publication of the Resolutlon;.of Intention,-the mailing of printed notices of the adoption of said resolution,and the posting~.-Of.the:Notice 0f Improvement,as required by law,had been made and are ron file in the office of the Secretary. All protestants having been heard and:an opportunity ha’~ing been given to all.persons desiring to be heard, and a full,fair and impartial hearing having been granted,;the-.Board~of Directors having before it a diagram of the Assessment District,and beingc familiar with the assessment district and also having considered.-. all protests filed,and having considered the-matter as to.the;area.of property represented by said protestants, Director Hall,.presented,the following,motion and moved ita adoption: - . WHEREAS,certain protests have beeh filed b.FRED RAP?, and~others,protesting against the doing of the work and improvement described in.Resolution of Intention No. 624~69~7,or against the Assessment District therein. described;and,~ WHEREAS,the Board of Direátors has carefully considered all protests or objections and having considered the area of the district represented by said protests; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by this Board of Directors that It does hereby find.arxd determine that the said pro tests or objections have’been-made by the owners of less than one-half of the areaof the property to be assessed for said;work and’improvement,as set forth in said Resolution of Intention No.64-69-7;and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each and all of the said protests or objections be and they hereby are overruled and denied. Said motion was duly seconded by Director Meyers and carried by the following roll call vote: AYES:Directors Doney,Hall,Meyers and Hirstein NOES:NONE ABSENT:Directors Cook and Parks 6-17-64 3 Director Hall then offered and moved the adoption of Resolution Ordering Work No.64-90-7,in the matter of the construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenant work in “ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.1,”which motion was seconded by Director Meyers and upon roll call vote was adopted by the following vote: AYES:Directors Doney,Hall,Meyers and Hirstein ABSENT:Directors Cook and parks NOES:NONE —3— 6=17-64 __________________ Moved,seconded-and duly carried: ________________—~-~-~That the letter f~m Vo~rheis Trindle_Ne18on,.Ir~c:.,requesting information relative to approximateI~700 act es-i-n the Cowan jieights area,not presently included in the District, be received a~d ordered filed and referred to the engineers for their’-review and recommendation.
