Chairman Reed called the joint meeting to order at d:O~p.m.
The roll was called and all District,Boards except Districts
6 and 7 were found to have a quorum present.

A motion was made,duly seconded and carried by District Boards

November 22,1950,as mailed out.

Administrative Officer Nelson H.Launer reported that the
Executive Cornmitte~met on November 29,1950.Representatives cf
the eight districts at this meeting unanimously recommended that
District No.d be requested to pay $900.00 for Joint Administrative
Oervices for the year 1950 and ~5O.O0 a month during the year 1951.
plus the cost of any special services;said amount of $50.00 a rnontl
to h~suh~ect to review at the end of the year 1951.
District Boards Nos.1 and 2 adopted a motion that the motion
made and carried on November 22,l95U,whereby County Sanitation
District ~o.~was requested to pay ~75.0O per month retroacti-ie to
Janu~ry 1,1950 for services performed for said District’s ben~fit
by the Joint Administrative Organization be arid is hereby recinded.

Mr.E.J.Marks reported that he,Mr.Preston Turner and Mr.
.~.rthur C.Nisson had met on December 12th and spent the afternoon
going over modifications of the contracts and that they will meet
am this week.
Director Vtrgil H.Heed reported that the meetings of repres~.r
t~Lives of the cities and sanitary districts of the J.O.S.and Dis
c~rict 1 have brought about agreement and there is no opposition;
:hat there are sonie differences in thought as to the legal phrasing
~-~f the contracts so that all parties will be represented in an equi
b~b1e way;that there are some points which are not clear in all
‘ninds and will have to be turned over to Mr.Beebe of O’Melveny and
Mynrs.
Mr.Robert H.Boney reported that much progress has been nude
toward approving the contracts.That Mr.Beebe of O’Melveny and
Myers has been ill but has advised Mr.Turner he will be in his
office next week.

FUNDS Auditor to transfer ~428.71 from
District No.d Operating Fund on
the ledgers maintained in his office to bring the County
Auditor’s fund balances into agreement with the Joint Adminis
trative records,as recommended in Mr.E.C.Diehi’s letter No.
1 and statement attatched thereto.

Operating Fund to the Joint Administrative Fund of County Sani
tation Districts Nos.1,2,3,5,6,7,and 11 the sum of
~9OO.OO for services rendered by the Joint Administrative
Org~~nization during the year 1950;and for services beginning
on J~inuary 1,1951,the sum of ~5O.OO per month during the
time District No.d is a member of the Joint Administrative
Organization,plus the cost of any special services rendered by
said organization,subject to review at the end of the year
