COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.7
OF ORANGE COUNTY,CALIFORNIA
July 12,1950 at 7:30 F.M.

Pursuant to the order of the Chairman,and upon a notice written
by the Secretary,stating time and place of a special meeting and de
livered to each Director at his regular mailing address at least three
days before such meeting for the purpose of discussing Agreements to
exist between Districts Nos.7 and 6;and any other business that may
come before the meeting,the Board of Directors of County Sanitation
District No.7 met in special session.
There were present:Directors Vincent L.1-lumeston (Chairman),
Willard Smith and Virgil H.Reed
Absent:Director Irvin G.Gordon.

The meeting was called to order by Chairman !-iumeston at 7:55 P.M.

Director Humeston led a discussion in regard to the use and
capacity rights that will be required by District No.7 in the s-inch
force sewer line extending from District No.7 passing through Dist
rict No.6 and connecting with the sewer main leading to the disposal
plant.A discussion was also held in regard to acquiring title from
the Irvine Company to that portion of the right of way;the s—inch
force sewer line and facilities lying in the Irvine Company property.

A general discussion was held in regard to the drawing up of
a contract to exist between County Sanitation Districts Nos.7 and
6 and the County of Orange for the acquisition of use rights in the
existing sewer lines lying in Districts Nos.7 and 6,the title
of which is held by the U.S.Government.

A motion was made by Director Reed,duly seconded and carried,
that the Attorney for District No.7 draw up a contract to exist
between County Sanitation Districts Nos.7 and 6 and the County of
Orange,State of California,establishing capacity and use rights
of certain existing sewer 1 ines and facilities for their joint use.
Director Hurneston presented a letter received from the Board of
Directors of County Sanitation District No.1 requesting that Dist-.
riot No.7 reply and state its intention in regard to participating
in construction,use,capacity rights,and maintenance of the trunk
sewer line referred to in a Resolution adopted by District No.1 on
February 27,1950.
A motion was made by Director Smith,duly seconded and carried,
that a reply be made to a letter received from District No.1 stating
that District No.7 will not,at this time,enter into a contract
with District No.1 in connection with construction,use,capacity
rights,and maintenance of the trunk sewer line referred to in a
Resolution adopted by District No.1 on February 27,1950.
