Title and Location of Project SEWAGE SLUDGE MANAGEMENT FACILITY, Coyote Canyon Landfill, Irvine Area, County of Orange Description of Project The proposed project is a drying/composting operation consisting of mixed dry sewage sludge and 80% wet sewage sludge that is mixed and aerated on a daily basis until the solids content reaches 35-50%. The operation.will process 350 cubic yards of 20% solids sludge a day on about .. 45 acres of an existing 660 acre sanitary landfill. GUIDELINES 1. Does the proposed activity qualify as a project as defined in Section 2S? Yes __ x_ No (If activity does not qualify as project, do not complete remainder of form) 2. Does the project qualify as: "A-1" a. Ministerial {Section 5) Yes b. Emergency .(Section 13) Yes No X No X c. A feasibility or planning study (Section 31) Yes No X d. Categorically exempt pursuant to Article 8 of the State Guidelines (Section 42) Yes No_x_ e.
